The Sacred Mysteries Cinema Series
Contact
Sacred
Mysteries is pleased to announce the launch of
our new Sacred Cinema Series. Between Now and
November 1st*, we will have four excellent feature
documentary films available
for
preview
screenings in your venues. You can choose any date to
screen the film during this
period. This will enable you to choose dates that
are the best for you and your community.
*Due to many requests for Fall and
Winter screenings, we have decided to extend the screening
period beyond November
1st. In addition, even though the general DVD release
date for Timewave 2013 and The Alchemical
Dream will
be on November 1st, in order to assist you in bringing
more revenue in for your screenings, we have decided
that if you hold a screening in October, you will have
the opportunity
to sell these DVDs in your venue prior to the general
release date.
In listening to your experiences
with these type of films, including your financial concerns,
as you will see in the contracts we have decided to waive
the up-front fee for screening the film and just go with
the 50/50 box office split. To see a sample contract, click
here. This contract contains the terms we will be offering
for all of our films. Complete contracts for all of the
films will be up in the next two weeks.
The Sacred Mysteries Cinema
Series provides you with a valuable format for increasing
revenue for your organization through both ticket sales
as well as special discount rates on the entire Sacred
Mysteries DVD collection. We have found that once the
audiences have seen one of our films, they are interested
in purchasing a number of films from the collection.
For more information on
the films, including the screening contract, posters,
trailers, etc. Contact Rowan or
Daniel at 877-304-3459.
We look forward to working together with you to continue to bring the depth,
vibrancy and power of Sacred Cinema to your communities.
The films we currently
are providing screenings for are:
Timewave
2013 is the sequel to 2012 The Odyssey which was so successfully
screened by many of you in late 2006 and 2007. Timewave
2013 is a beautiful, informative and evocative film,
shot partly on location in the Sacred Valley of Peru
which speaks to the transformative nature of the times
in which we live and the critical issues that we face.
It features Jose Arguelles, Gregg Braden, Riane Eisler,
William Henry, Jean Houston, John Major Jenkins, Rick
Levine, Dennis McKenna, Terence McKenna, Daniel Pinchbeck,
Sharron Rose, Geoff Stray, Whitley Strieber, Alberto
Villoldo, Jay Weidner and the Shaman/Healers of the Q’ero
people of Peru.
In
the mid-1990's Terence McKenna and Mystic Fire's Sheldon
Rocklin teamed up to make this rich and exciting film.
Little did they know that this would be their last film.
Filmed in Prague with Terence portraying his usual erudite
rendition of the Irish Bard, this filmed classic takes
us on a journey into the alchemical renaissance of King
Frederick V and his wife Queen Elizabeth of Bohemia.
Playing the role of John Dee, court magician for Queen
Elizabeth of England, Terence McKenna shows us how the
promise of a return to the tradition of alchemy was almost
instituted in Europe. He also shows us that this early
attempt at the creation of an alchemical kingdom actually
lead to the European Renaissance and the institution
of Cartesian science and the beginnings of rationalism
within the western mindset. This incredible film is not
only beautifully filmed but is Terence McKenna’s
finest performance and a worthy eulogy to his genius.
Many
are now coming to believe that crop circles, appearing
all over the planet (more than 11,000 since 1980), are
a communiquê to humankind allowing a greater human consciousness
to emerge. This documentary presents visually stunning
images of the major crop circles, interviews with top
researchers and a narrative line dealing with the mystical
aspects of the phenomenon.
